separated from his family in Hawaii, ends up in
San Francisco, then has to find his way back.
It's a very engaging book for kids, with lots
of good lessons along the way.
A few typos and grammatical errors which could
be fixed with a little proofreading, but all in all
a delightful story. I can even visualize it as an
animated Disney movie.

I was drawn to this book because of my love of Hawaii. This is an extremely well written and sophisticated story of a bird who gets separated from his family and the amazing adventures he has in his quest to find them. Highly recommend.
This story is about a bird that gets rescued and simultaneously feels kidnapped - all in one swoop. His quest is to return home, but that is no small fete. I can hardly wait to share this exciting and heart warming story with my tween granddaughters.
I am going on vacation next week, and was looking for a book I can read w my nieces and nephew before they go to bed. This book is perfect, and I am looking forward to experiencing it with them. Highly recommended.
This is an extra nice book to read about the birds, and friends that Milo has met; take a journey and travel awhile with Milo and learn first hand of his adventues some sad and best of all the good ones too a great book for young boys I would say around 7-10 age group especially . A lovely read.
This is a book that can be enjoyed by all ages, but especially youth who are learning to read or read well. I really enjoyed the story of Mylo and his adventures of being separated from his family and the task of getting re-united. The book is well-written and I even learned some Hawaiian words. Highly recommended.
This was so well written with many turns and adventurous twists as Mylo gets separated from his family, finds a new family and returns home to his original family with the help of many friends he meets along the way. A great read for older kids but this will also be a wonderful bedtime story for younger children and there are so many teaching places for parents to explain.
